According to the CPSC, there have been five reports of affected power cords overheating and causing fires that resulted in property damage. No injuries have been reported.

Bosch says the dishwashers were manufacturerd between January 2008 and January 2015 and were built in both the U.S. and Germany. Stainless steel, black, white and custom panel dishwashers are affected.

Bosch, Thermador, and Gaggenau are part of BSH home appliances. BSH also manufactured an affected model for Jenn-Air (the JDB9600) and some Kenmore models sold only in Canada.
